The San Diego Junior Golf Association has a long history of producing championship golfers, from high school State Champions to NCAA National Champions, and all the way to the PGA Tour in players such as Phil Mickelson, Charley Hoffman, Pat Perez, Craig Stadler, and Scott Simpson to name a few.
You don’t have to be the best golfer on the course to have the experience of a lifetime. It is our goal to provide every junior golfer with the opportunity to learn the valuable life lessons they can use to better themselves on and off the golf course.
Membership is open to all juniors between the ages of 5-18. All members are required to complete the membership application and successfully pass the rules quiz before they will be allowed to register for tournaments. The rules quiz is available once the player logs into their player’s club account and can be found in a blue box directly above the tournament schedule. The SDJGA Board of Directors reserves the right to make final decisions regarding issues of membership.

It’s hard to overstate how much the SDJGA has meant to me as a person and as a player. At an early age I developed respect for fellow competitors and for the game. Whether we’re talking about the game of golf or life, those lessons are key building blocks for young people.
I have many great memories of playing in Junior Golf, but the most important thing to me was making lifelong friends, learning how to compete with other fine players and just enjoying the thrill of playing tournament golf at home.
I truly believe the SDJGA has had an impact on my life in a profound way.
